The ASK Formula is a methodology created by Ryan Levesque for discovering what your market wants by asking the right questions, segmenting customers into "buckets" based on their answers, and then delivering personalized recommendations and offers to each segment. It replaces guesswork with data-driven personalization.
Most businesses can complete Phases 1-3 (Deep Dive through Quiz Funnel) in 4-6 weeks. Phases 4-5 (Prescribe and Profit Maximization) typically take another 4-8 weeks to build out fully. Phase 6 is ongoing. Start with the Deep Dive Survey — you can begin collecting actionable data within a week.
You need a minimum of 100 survey responses for the Deep Dive phase to identify reliable patterns. If your list is small, run the survey to website visitors using an exit-intent popup or embed it on high-traffic pages. Paid traffic to a survey landing page can also work if your existing audience is under 500 people.
