Do I have to follow this roadmap in exact order?

The phases are designed to build on each other. Foundation work (Phase 1) makes acquisition cheaper. Acquisition (Phase 2) gives you enough traffic to run meaningful optimization tests (Phase 3). Scaling (Phase 4) only works if the earlier phases are solid. You can adjust individual monthly priorities, but do not skip phases.

What if I am already past the Foundation phase?

Start wherever you are. If your store is already optimized and you have steady traffic, jump to Phase 3 or 4. But be honest — most stores that think they have nailed the foundations still have page speed issues, weak product pages, or no email capture. Run the Phase 1 checklist as a gut-check before skipping it.

How do I know if a phase is truly complete?

Check two things: the checklist completion and your KPI targets. If you have checked every item but your KPIs have not moved, something is off — the execution quality matters as much as the activity. Revisit the weakest area before moving on.

Can I use this roadmap for a brand new store with zero traffic?

Yes — that is exactly who Phase 1 is designed for. Spend the full three months on foundation work. New stores often rush to paid ads before their product pages convert, which just burns budget. Get your store converting at 2%+ organically before you start Phase 2.
